Lime recruit are searching for a head chef to take the lead of a stunning 28-bedroom hotel on the outskirts of Cheltenham. As part of a large premium inns company the focus is on great comfort food cooked well.
The ideal candidate will come from a high-volume fresh food background cooking a menu developed by the group exec with input from yourself, you will also have the opportunity to create your own specials.
Heading up a team of 10-11 chefs you and your senior sous chef will manage the food operation which includes breakfast, lunch, dinner, weddings & events and outside al fresco dining.
Having recently completed a 4-million-pound renovation (1 mil spent on the kitchen) you will have access to a state-of-the-art kitchen with open coal Josper Grill and slow smoker for created amazing seared steaks, slow smoked short ribs even your own smoked salmon.
The successful candidate will be rewarded with a salary of £40-45k per year for a 48-hour week plus tips and an achievable bonus structure of £3-4k.
